Acer has announced SpatialLabs, a new 3D technology that will debut on the company’s ConceptD laptops. Plainly, it’s a set of tools that makes 3D work look very realistic and cool without requiring special glasses to see it. As Nreal plans a US launch later this year, Epic wants to recoup damages and scuttle its application for a trademark. The China-based Nreal makes an augmented reality headset known as the Nreal Light, which projects 3D objects into real space, and it’s developed a demo game called Nreal Tower.
